Investigations
We have experience of investigating complaints, grievances, and staff capability issues. We offer an independent service and we can use your own complaints and reporting procedures, or we can complete a report using our own template. We are aware of the disruption and uncertainty these situations create, and we are therefore committed to completing investigations and submitting reports as quickly as possible.
Regulation 33 visits
We offer a flexible package which includes a one-off emergency service, or an ongoing one. We can work within your established procedures, or we can help you to develop a policy and reporting form which meets your needs. We can also use our own policy and reporting templates if you prefer. You will receive reports within 7 days of the visit. Our Regulation 33 visitors are experienced residential managers, and are familiar with the standards.
Quality Assurance inspections and reports
We can help you achieve your quality assurance goals by providing an independent monitoring service. We can assess performance against standards and outcomes as required by your service, and submit detailed reports including recommendations within 7 days of the visit.
Developing policy and guidance
We are experienced at developing service policy and staff guidance and can use our own templates or your proforma. We can include full consultation with staff, managers and other stakeholders identified by you and provide draft documents for your quality assurance and signing off procedures. We can attend board meetings to aid the signing off process.
Completing assessments
We can compile focused risk assessments using a variety of templates and methods depending on your requirements. We have the experience to risk assess specific activities (including outdoor activities with service users), buildings, work practices, and proposed care plan actions. We will consult with staff, managers, service users and other stakeholders as appropriate. We will deliver final documents within agreed timescales.
Staff supervision
We are experienced social care managers, and can provide supervision to staff and managers at any level to meet a shortfall in your usual arrangements. We can also provide ongoing supervision to Registered Managers in small organisations.
Support to management
We can provide support to individual managers and management teams to improve effectiveness, manage change and so on.
Mentoring and support
We can provide short term and ongoing mentoring to staff and managers at any level to contribute to improved service delivery and professional development.
NVQ services
As Health and Social Care assessors and internal verifiers we can contribute to your assessment processes either by ongoing assessment and verification, including 2nd assessing and A1/A2 assessment, or by providing one-off direct observations including multi-unit referencing.
